| Glen Ray Begley, 78, of Bowie, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, March 03, 2015. Funeral services will be at 2:00PM, Thursday, March 5, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church in Henrietta, Texas with Dr. Keva Green, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home in Henrietta, Texas. Mr. Begley was born on December 24, 1936 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Woodrow W. and Doris (Lamb) Begley. He married Nancy (Carpenter) on May 23, 1996 in Bowie, Texas. Mr. Begley worked as a butcher for Central Packing Company for 30 years and Texas Best Meats prior to retirement. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Henrietta, Texas. Mr. Begley was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Nancy of Bowie, Texas; son, Chris Begley and wife Tracy of Bowie, Texas; daughters, Melissa Roberson and husband Billy Ray of Henrietta, Texas and D.D. Rhine of Wichita Falls, Texas; step-daughters, Carol Mann and husband Danny of Bowie, Texas and Beth Briggs and husband Bobby of Runaway Bay, Texas; grandchildren, Bethanie Freeman, Blayne Robinson, Bo Begley, Lance Rhine and Brett Rhine; five great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren, Marcus Mann, Steven Mann, Mauria Briggs and Michael Briggs, Jake Roberson, Savanna Chandler; seven step-great-grandchildren. The family will be at Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6:00PM-7:00PM. Memorials may be made to the Bowie Memorial Hospital at 705 E. Greenwood, Bowie, Texas 76230.
